Grafix Printing & Design  opened in Sechelt in 1997.  Alan Hudson, the owner and printer, has been in the printing business since 1978, and has worked on the Coast since 1993.   Grafix is a real printing shop, not just a retailer for other printers.  Yes, you can smell the ink here.  Having the capability to produce everything in-house makes Grafix fast, reliable and cost effective. Grafix has two offset presses:  a single colour Multilith 1850, which prints 17.5” x 13”, and a two colour Multimax 1260, which prints 11”x16.5”. A 20”x 24” Auto Companica line camera handles the film work for top quality plate making.  Grafix uses Fuji metal plates for all work, for the best quality. A Xerox digital colour printer handles the colour, black and short run work.  It runs full colour with remarkable quality and speed. The maximum sheet size is 12” X 18”. The bindery handles folding, cutting and trimming, stitching, padding, numbering and more.
